Good game! I've been playing pinochle for 50 years and in that time I've had all kinds of partners. I've read all the reviews here and I think some of you folks are a bit harsh. The game play is just fine and the AI is well done. Are they perfect? No but very few people I've played with have been. I changed all the names and faces and played straight pinochle, no passing cards. The play is just fine and it's the best version of pinochle on the store. Give it a try!

Utter trash Conceptually, the game is good. It is pinochle. However, when playing against computer your partner just throws cards. While the opposing teams does seem to apply a strategy, your partner gives aways hands that are sure 31s. It is frustrating to deal with and discourages playing. Not all players have the luxury of time and data allowance to be able to play online as they please. Please apply some sort of strategy for Rick.

Wow!!! Jack and Marta are awesome players..they read each other's minds every hand. Your partner, Rick, is at the kindergarten level of skill. Plus you NEVER get a biddable hand. In fact I never seem to get a hand at all..more like feet, really.
Rick Rick is irritating. I hear myself yelling at him like my grandparents yelled at me. 'Don't you know what the hell a spade is?' Rick makes stupid choices when he passes cards. Otherwise, this is a pretty fun game!

Totally rigged for bad hands -- updated still stinks As soon as u start winning the computer opponents get these crazy hands. Always. Computer players get these outrageous meld hands very often. Not realistic at all. Too bad. A good pinochle game needs to be made. Definitely not this one.

Better than most Pinochle is not an easy game. We all know that. The one problem with other games is scoring meld. The only issue with this one is computer partners actually playing properly (e.g., giving points to your partner).

Terrible AI The AI doesn't know the first thing about Pinochle, namely that you send your partner trump when they have the bid. It routinely sends off-suit kings and queens in several different suits, then melds its own marriage in trump. Sometimes it seems to hold on to the jack of trump to protect its jacks around. Sometimes it does it for no apparent reason. When it has the bid, it doesn't try to take away trump, but wastes its own. It's like playing with a dim 3 year old as your partner.

Very good I realize this is a difficult game to make. But when your partner sends you aces instead of trump so you get a 100 aces but not a run it makes you crazy. If the AI partner sent trump first I would give 5 stars.
Still the best pinochle game on Google play Best pinochle game there is.This was the only issue I have has nothing to do with the app its with how other players bid. Depending on where and who taught you , you may have learned a different way. **UPDATE** When you play against the A.I. (your computer partner) sends you bogus bids. Example it will be its turn to bid 2nd and bid 51 thinking your getting a aces bid or at least 10 meld passed I jump my bid to 65 or 70 cause I have a good hand and win the bid only to find out my partner has 4 meld. Fix it
Single player This is an exercise in frustration. When playing single player partners your partner constantly does things like keeping an ace ten of trump and passing you a pair of Jack's. If this error were fixed then this app might be an enjoyable experience. As it is it just doesn't cut it.

OK with friends but with robots it's a big blah Glad you can play against friends, but I also enjoy playing alone and the computers are terrible. Obviously they can keep perfect card count, but also they pass terrible (ex:call hearts trump and they pass 4 aces & hold trump or call spades and hold trump and pass diamonds) Your partner overbids you and then passes right after. Computers know EVERY TIME exactly which lead to throw to get the lead to their partner. You either take the bid everytime, or lose. If it was more even, I'd give 5 stars.
This game can barely be called pinochle. The computer partner can't pass for s##t! Passes like a two year old holding trumps and not passing them. Takes way to long to sit at an online table and if someone leaves the game, it kicks everyone to the curb. There is just a lot of issues with this game...sad

And the other team gets that high meld constantly. And i can have double aces in every suit but one, and Marta always seems to be able to get by me right to her partner. Computer has the Edge Usually You opponent relieves large amounts of mill consistently. Difficult to win . I have played for 40 years and Tournaments. Still enjoy the game.
Pretty good to keep you active It seems to cover all of the bases for this amateur. Adjust the AI settings to suit you. That seems to be the only way to cheat the game.

My favorite card game ! I learned how to play pinochle when i was 17 .. im 38 and i still have a passion for the game. This app. Is very good. Outside of not being able to choose your own partners.. its awesome!
Partner sucks!! I haven't tried playing online, but the computer partner doesn't know how to play!!!!!!!! He bid 35 I gave him 4 aces each suit. . .he gives me back 2 diamond aces!! Please get someone who knows how to play pinochle to fix the game!! I am uninstalling it!!
Its a good time passer Guy's you got to please make it so my computer partner doesnt try to fish with a 10 when there is still an ace out there. Same goes with it putting a king out first when it should know there is a ten in play as well. And it passes at such a low bid to even when i have already passed it just lets the other team have it.

Great pinochle game This game has so many variations all that you can control. I highly recommend this game if you are looking for a great one you just found it.
Game is great. Point system sucks. And stats should be added for online play, nobody needs the stats for playing a computer. And it should show how many times a player quits and what not.

31 move on to the next hand option This is the best Pinochle App by far. I could use one thing though a 31 and move on to the next hand option for when both teams agree that surrendering the hand is the most efficient option to move on to the next but only with both teams in agreement.
Fun Only complaint I'd have is when you have a lot of cards in one suit, it is split into two rows. I understand why, but you just have to be alert. Otherwise, this is probably my favorite card game.
Online double deck-2 set 2 set table is my only option for online play however The 2 set table should also end the game with a score of 300. That's the way I learned to play during my stay in the local correctional facility's, Never herd of the 500 score. Owell love the game.
